I have been getting download speeds about two thirds of my upload speeds recently. I thought it might be due to an old out of date modem i had, so I updated the modem to the new-ish motorola SBG6782. Resulting in the same download slower than upload ( as measured on coxs speed test and others ). My download speed has been between roughly .5-5 mps and my upload speed has been at least twice that (8-10 mps) but when I check on my wife's computer downoad is roughly 22 mps and upload is roughly 24. So why if we are on the same wireless router is my computer getting such slow speeds? Solved: Slow download - Upload always faster than download I've had service for several months now and have never been able to get faster than 300mbps download. However, I'm getting 650mbps upload. I'm checking the speed on Speedtest by Ookla. Any tips or things I should check? Thanks!
